Nestled in the heart of Pas-de-Calais, France, the Trail du Bocage is set to captivate trail runners and nature enthusiasts alike when it returns for its 2026 edition on Sunday, August 30th. This year’s event will take place at Naturéo, a scenic location situated along Rue de la Gare in Desvres.
The race offers three distinct trails catering to various skill levels: the challenging 21km route, the moderate 15km course, and an accessible 6km option for those looking to enjoy the outdoors without pushing their limits too far. Each trail meanders through lush landscapes, offering runners a chance to immerse themselves in nature while navigating varied terrain that includes rolling hills and picturesque countryside.
Participants will start off at different times depending on their chosen distance: randonneurs depart at 9am for both the 6km and 15km routes; those tackling the longer distances begin with the 21km trail starting at 9:30 am, followed by the 15km route at 9:45 am. The final group setting off on their journey is the shorter distance runners embarking on the 6km course at 10:30 am.
Race organizers ensure that participants are well-supported throughout the event with a comprehensive post-race refreshment station where all entrants can enjoy complimentary food and beverages upon completion of their chosen route. Additionally, those participating in any of the trail events will receive an official race T-shirt as part of their registration package, which is mandatory to wear during the competition.
For families looking for a fun day out, there are also family-friendly walking routes available at 6km and 15km distances. These shorter courses offer a relaxed way to explore the scenic surroundings while enjoying quality time together.
