Returning after its successful debut in 2026, the Trail des Muches promises another unforgettable experience for runners and spectators alike. This year’s edition features dedicated volunteers ready to cheer you on as you navigate through varied terrain that is both challenging and surprising. The main event, the Trail "Les Muches," spans a distance of 18.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 320 meters. Participants will encounter technical paths, steep climbs, and even pass by historic mills – adding a touch of history to your run. For those new to trail running but eager for adventure, the Trail "La Carrière" offers a more accessible route at 6 kilometers long, with an elevation gain of just 50 meters. This shorter course includes forest trails and gentle ascents. In addition to the adult races, there are special events designed to promote physical activity among younger generations: Course enfants "Les Arondes" for children born in or after 2014 and Course enfants "Les Écureuils," suitable for those born in or after 2016. A separate march event is also available for teenagers. To enhance the day’s atmosphere, there will be a variety of amenities such as water stations, food stalls, and an area designated for storing personal belongings (one bag per runner). An animated warm-up session before the races kicks off the festivities, while children can enjoy play areas designed specifically for them.
