Set in the heart of the wild and preserved Massif de la Gardiole in Frontignan, this iconic nocturnal event invites runners to trade the daylight for the glow of their headlamps. Located perfectly between Montpellier and Sète, the trail offers a unique sensory experience where the focus shifts from the ticking clock to the rhythm of the stars and the rugged beauty of the Herault landscape. With participation capped at just 420 runners, the event maintains an intimate, high-energy atmosphere that has made it a local favorite for over a decade.

The 2026 program offers three distinct ways to experience the mountain under the moon: a fast-paced 7km Solo Trail (225D+), a more technical and rewarding 15km Trail (390D+) available for both solo runners and duos, and a 7km Nordic Walk for those seeking a convivial, rhythmic adventure. Starting at 19h30 from the Salle des sports Nikola Karabatic, participants will navigate a course designed for complete autonomy, requiring every "firefly" to carry their own hydration and gear. The 15km route, in particular, offers breathtaking night views over the Mediterranean coast, rewarding the climb with a spectacular urban light show in the distance.

True to the spirit of the Tri Run Frontignan club, the evening concludes with the legendary offered brasucade (mussels grilled over vine shoots) for all participants—a warm, Mediterranean celebration of effort and community. Registration fees remain accessible, starting at 13 € for the 7km distances and 18 € for the 15km, with a small supplement for day-of registrations if slots remain.
