The XTERRA Trail des Balcons d’Azur Mandelieu invites runners to a spectacular coastal odyssey where the azure Mediterranean meets the fiery red volcanic rock of the Estérel Massif. Scheduled for the weekend of April 11–12, 2026, this event serves as a premier stop on the XTERRA Trail Run World Series, attracting over 1,300 athletes to the heart of the French Riviera. The race village, nestled in the Parc familial de Robinson in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, acts as the central hub for an adventure that weaves through wild rosemary-scented hillsides and over technical, undulating ridges. Located just a short distance from Nice International Airport, the event offers a perfect blend of high-stakes competition and the laid-back elegance of the Côte d'Azur.

Participants can choose from four distinct distances across the two-day festival, each offering a unique perspective on the regional park's dramatic landscapes. Saturday features the shorter, high-speed courses, including the new 14km Capitou TBA and the 23km P'tit TBA World Series qualifier. Sunday shifts the focus to endurance, as ultra-runners tackle the signature 47km and the grueling 68km Ultra Trail des Balcons d’Azur. With 232 qualification slots for the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship on the line, the atmosphere is electric, balancing professional athletic pursuit with a "chic and cool" festival vibe. Every kilometer conquered rewards runners with sweeping panoramic views of the sea, making it one of the most visually stunning trail events in southern France.
