The Trail de Reyv’ 2026 is set to take place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in the picturesque commune of Reyvroz, located in the Haute-Savoie department of the French Alps. Reyvroz is a charming mountain village perched in the Chablais region near Lake Geneva. This event is celebrated for its raw and natural atmosphere, with 90% of the courses consisting of forest paths, tracks, and single-track trails. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes de Reyvroz, the race emphasizes the essence of trail running—focusing on the terrain and personal challenge rather than artificial flair.

Course Experience and Mandatory Equipment

The trails are known for being steep and uncompromising, rewarding runners with a deep sense of immersion in the Alpine wilderness. The Grand Reyv features three refreshment stations at key points to support the significant climb. Because of the technical mountain environment, specific mandatory gear is required: a survival blanket, an eco-cup or flask, a whistle, a waterproof jacket, and a mobile phone. Running poles are permitted for those tackling the steeper sections of the 18.2 km and 9.5 km routes.

Registration and Logistics

Online registration closes on April 17, 2026, and on-site registration is available on the morning of the race provided bibs are still available. Bib collection is hosted at the Reyvroz Village Hall (Salle des fêtes), both on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Participants must present a valid ID to collect their bibs. The event is well-equipped with services including participant parking, toilets, showers, and a post-race meal to foster a social atmosphere after the physical effort.
