Trail de l'APE de l'école de Faux en Périgord

On September 27, 2026, the Parents' Association of Faux en Périgord Elementary School, a non-profit organization under French law, is hosting its inaugural trail race with support from the local municipality. The event aims to raise funds for school projects throughout the year that benefit all students.
The races begin at 9:15 AM behind the primary school on the sports field of the health park and feature courses designed to cater to a wide range of participants, whether they are competitive trail runners or casual enthusiasts looking to enjoy beautiful landscapes.
For young athletes, there is a sprint event for children that lasts just six minutes. A 9-kilometer trail run and hike offer an accessible option for all levels of experience, while seasoned runners can tackle the more challenging 22-kilometer route.
The trails wind through picturesque villages including Faux en Périgord, Lanquais, and Saint-Aubin de Lanquais. Throughout the race, participants will enjoy stunning scenery as they navigate varied terrain that includes both wooded areas and open fields.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all runners, no unauthorized vehicles are permitted on any part of the route. Along the way, there are well-placed hydration stations at 5 kilometers and again at 15 kilometers to keep everyone fueled and hydrated as they make their way through this scenic countryside setting.
