Trail de la Ligne Rouge

The Trail of the Red Line offers runners an unforgettable journey through France’s historical landscapes on April 11, 2027. Participants can choose from three routes departing from Thiescourt: a challenging 40km trek, a scenic 20km loop, and a shorter but equally captivating 10km course. For those seeking the ultimate challenge, there is also an epic 100km route that can be tackled solo or as part of a relay team.
The trail follows the path taken by soldiers during wartime, tracing the newly created Grande Randonnée (GRP) which will eventually allow hikers to follow the Red Line on foot for the first time. This course is closely connected with the Ultratrail de la 14-18 and was developed in collaboration with local communities along its route.
Runners can expect a terrain rich with mud, reminiscent of wartime trenches, as they traverse through nature untouched by urban obstacles. The event celebrates both history and athletic endeavor, immersing participants in a unique blend of physical challenge and historical significance.
The atmosphere is charged with respect for the past and excitement for the present, making this trail run an experience like no other.
