Nature lovers and trail runners are invited to explore the enchanting Domaine du Lain in Gestel for an unforgettable race experience. This scenic 100% natural course weaves through lush forests, winding paths, and serene undergrowth, offering participants a chance to leave their mark on muddy trails while enjoying plenty of smiles along the way.
The event kicks off and concludes at the historic Château du Lain Parking area, ensuring comfort for all attendees. The race features two distinct distances designed to cater to various levels of runners:
- 8 km: A brisk, efficient route without mid-race refreshments but guaranteed to be a quick affair.
- 16 km: An adventurous and challenging course with an on-trail hydration station.
Both races are part of the esteemed Challenge Bro Oriant series and perfectly align with its spirit. Runners are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups in line with eco-friendly practices, adding to the event's environmental ethos.
Post-race festivities include a complimentary beer or refreshing drink at the finish line for recovery, along with an engaging after-party featuring live music and socializing opportunities. There’s also a raffle draw to keep the camaraderie going well beyond crossing the finish line.
To promote team spirit, there is a prize awarded to the association that fields the most runners. The top three overall winners as well as category champions will receive special recognition and rewards.
Race day registration begins at 8:30 AM directly on-site at Domaine du Lain for those who prefer not to pre-register. All fees are included in the race entry price, ensuring transparency and ease of participation.
