Tour de Dugo 2026

The Tour de Dugo returns on November 7, 2026, for another adventure through the scenic Verdugo Mountains. Participants will receive an email with checkpoints and suggested routes by November 4th, but you're free to explore any path that suits your style—whether it’s a mellow route or a more challenging one with rugged trails. Expect around 40-50 miles of riding over varied terrain including roads, fire roads, and singletrack, with approximately 6-8k feet of elevation gain.
Registration is limited to just 75 participants who will receive exclusive perks like vouchers for hotdogs and Hamm’s beer at Walt’s Bar post-race. The event offers a unique opportunity to tackle classic Verdugo climbs while also discovering lesser-known trails that offer stunning views and rewarding challenges. Whether you’re riding solo or with friends, prepare to immerse yourself in the mountain's diverse landscapes.
Check-in begins at 8:30am on race day at Walt’s Bar, where Heavy Water coffee will be available for early risers. The race starts promptly at 9:00am and concludes back at Walt’s Bar around late afternoon. Awards are presented at 2pm to celebrate the achievements of all participants.
Participants should come prepared with their own nutrition, hydration, tools, and bike maintenance essentials since the event is self-supported. While gravel bikes or hardtail/XC mountain bikes provide ideal setups for this ride, any human-powered bicycle will do. Enjoy a day filled with camaraderie, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable moments in the Verdugo Mountains.
Registration opens on October 17th at 8am for women/trans/femme/nonbinary riders and on October 18th at 8am for men's category, closing November 4th at 5pm. For more information or to join the waitlist once registration is full, contact Holly directly.
