Tour de Burger Ride

Join the Gulf Coast Bicycle Club for an unforgettable ride through picturesque South Mississippi countryside on October 24, 2026. This free event is exclusively open to GCBC members; if you're not yet part of the club, now's a great time to join and enjoy this scenic adventure.
The ride begins at David & Jean Scarborough’s home in Saucier, located at 13242 Teague Road. After setting off from this charming starting point, riders will pedal through some of Mississippi’s most beautiful country roads, offering stunning views and serene landscapes that cyclists love to explore.
Upon completion of the ride, participants are invited back to David's home for a well-deserved reward—a delicious hamburger cooked by host David Scarborough himself. This casual gathering is an excellent opportunity to meet fellow riders, share stories from the day’s adventure, and enjoy some great food in a welcoming atmosphere.

Route options will be available via RideWithGPS (RWGPS), where participants can download detailed maps and directions directly onto their devices or print them off for easy navigation during the ride. Online registration remains open until 7:30 AM on October 24th, approximately half an hour before the start time. Same-day registrations will be handled through Race Roster in a paperless format only. Be sure to download your route beforehand and familiarize yourself with it thoroughly for a smooth ride experience.
Riders are encouraged to reach out if they're willing to assist with pre-ride preparations, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day of the event. As always, this ride is weather-dependent and undertaken at each participant’s own risk.
