Tough Biker: Fallen Officer Memorial Ride

On February 28, 2027, cyclists from across Orlando will gather for the Tough Biker: Fallen Officer Memorial Ride, a poignant tribute honoring law enforcement officers who have lost their lives serving the community. This fully escorted metric century ride covers 66 miles through the scenic landscapes of Orlando and Orange County at a steady pace of 19 mph.
Led by the dedicated motor units of the Orlando Police Department, riders will experience an uninterrupted journey with police escorts ensuring safety throughout each intersection. The route features two rest stops at mile markers 25 and 50, offering cyclists a chance to refuel before reaching the finish line where they'll be greeted with a hearty meal.
This event not only serves as a memorial but also supports youth empowerment initiatives by involving young volunteers who assist during the ride. Proceeds benefit the Police Unity Tour, an initiative aimed at raising awareness about fallen officers and honoring their sacrifices. Participants will receive commemorative t-shirts and personalized number bibs, adding to the meaningful experience.
Registration is limited to 150 riders, ensuring a personal touch throughout the event. Early registration guarantees preferred shirt styles and sizes as well as home delivery of event packets. Don't miss this unique opportunity to pay respects while enjoying an unforgettable ride through central Florida's vibrant scenery.
