About the Event

Be part of ultrarunning history at the final TorTour de Ruhr "Adieu Edition" on May 23-24, 2026, a legendary 230km nonstop race from the Ruhr source in Winterberg to the Rhine in Duisburg. This exclusive, invitation-only event—organized by runners for runners—is one of Germany's longest and most iconic ultras, also offering 161km (100 miles) and 100km distances. As a qualifier for the Badwater 135 and a true test of endurance, it requires self-sufficiency and a dedicated crew, following the scenic RuhrtalRadweg through the green heart of the Ruhr region. With its unique spirit and this being the last run in its current format, secure your invitation for an unforgettable farewell to a cornerstone of German ultrarunning.
