Torrent Run & Walk 2027

Immerse yourself in nature and scenic beauty at the third edition of the Torrent Run & Walk, taking place on July 17, 2027. This picturesque race offers runners and walkers an unforgettable journey through the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park, showcasing breathtaking views of the Gemmiwand, Leukerbad, and the Rhone Valley along the way.
Participants can choose between two routes: a challenging 14.6-km running course with an elevation gain of +1,180 meters and a loss of -200 meters from Leukerbad to Rinderhütte or a more moderate 4.2-km Panoramaweg trail for walkers that climbs over 400 meters up to the same destination.
In addition to the main event, children have their own fun-filled races—the Erli Kids Run and MuKi/VaKi Run—both starting and finishing at Leukerbad Sportarena. This year marks a special milestone as the Torrent Run & Walk becomes part of the Laufcup Oberwallis series, adding an extra layer of excitement for all competitors.
Join us on July 17th to experience the magic of this unique race amidst stunning Swiss landscapes.
