About the Event

This certified race is billed as Japan's fastest course, with less than 2 m of elevation difference. It is a 10 km loop along the Arakawa riverbed starting and finishing at Toda Bridge athletics stadium, with races over the full marathon, 30K, half marathon, 10K, 5K and 1 mile.
Pacers cover 12 groups, from 2:30 to 4:20 for the marathon. Water is available every 3 to 4 km and food once every 10 km. Registration opens at 8:00 and the main races start at 9:30, with the 1 mile at 9:35. Entry fees are 11,000 yen for the marathon, 7,700 yen for the half and 30K, 5,500 yen for the 10K and 3,300 yen for the 5K and 1 mile, with 10 percent off for registered R.LEAGUE members from their second start. The race is a partner event of TEAM ONE TOKYO, a ranking program offering a chance at Tokyo Marathon entry. Time limits run from 12 minutes for the mile to 4 hours 30 minutes for the marathon.
