Tiree Ultramarathon

Dubbed "The Land Below the Waves," this unique coastal run circumnavigates the entire island, guiding you past 14 pristine white-sand beaches, rugged cliffs, and stunning Atlantic vistas, all under the island's famously wide, midge-free skies. Starting and finishing at Scarinish Harbour, the clockwise route offers simple navigation with relentless natural beauty, where the only sounds are your footsteps on firm sand and the crashing of waves. Whether you tackle the full distance solo or share the epic journey as a pairs relay team, you’ll be met with legendary island hospitality and a vibrant post-race ceilidh celebration. With a generous 10-hour cutoff, this event is as much about the awe-inspiring journey as the finish line medal.
