Tiger Trot 5K/10K

The 6th Annual St. James Tiger Trot returns on Saturday, November 28, 2026, offering runners and walkers two distances to choose from: a family-friendly 5K or the challenging 10K run. Starting at 9:00 AM sharp from the bustling football field in downtown St. James, Missouri, this Thanksgiving weekend tradition is more than just a race—it's an opportunity for community members of all ages to come together and support local students.
Participants will enjoy scenic routes that wind through the heart of St. James, with vibrant fall foliage adding splashes of color along the way. The 5K course offers a mix of paved pathways and gentle terrain, while the 10K presents runners with an extended journey that showcases more of what this Missouri town has to offer.
Race day festivities begin early at 7:00 AM when packet pickup opens, giving participants plenty of time for pre-race preparations. Both distances feature chip timing from Split Second Timing and include a race shirt upon registration before November 7th. Awards will be given to the first-place male and female finishers in each age group (5-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+).
Beyond the race itself, there's a photo backdrop where participants can capture memories of their Tiger Trot experience. The event not only celebrates athletic achievement but also raises funds to provide gifts for students before winter break—a true testament to the community spirit that defines St. James.
Join the fun and support an important cause at this year’s St. James Tiger Trot!
