Tianjin Marathon 2026 (2026天津马拉松)

The Tianjin Marathon, scheduled for Sunday, October 25th at 7:30 AM, promises to be an exhilarating journey through the vibrant city of Tianjin. With a total field capacity of 30,000 runners, this event features both marathon and half-marathon distances, catering to athletes of all levels.
The marathon course stretches for 42.195 kilometers, starting at Friendship Road near the Tianjin Grand Theatre and finishing in Binhai West Road at the Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium. Runners will embark on a journey through scenic pathways and iconic landmarks that encapsulate the essence of this historic Chinese city. The half-marathon route covers 21.0975 kilometers, concluding along Haihe East Road near Jinmao Hub.
Pre-registration for both events opens from August 19th at noon until August 24th at 6:00 PM local time through the official website (www.tianjin-marathon.com), MalaMala app, Digital Heartbeat app, and "Jincheng Fitness Champion Gathering" mini-program. Participants will be informed of their race status in early September following a lottery system; successful entries must then complete payment to secure their spots.
The theme for the 2026 edition is “Run Tianjin, Understand a City,” emphasizing how running can serve as a unique lens through which participants and spectators alike experience Tianjin’s rich history and modern dynamism. As runners traverse bustling urban landscapes and historical sites such as the Drum Tower and Ancient Cultural Street, they will witness firsthand the city's blend of tradition and contemporary life.
