Whether it's rolling hills, winding country lanes, or stretches with challenging climbs, each route is designed to provide a memorable experience for riders of all levels.
Starting at the historic Scone Palace, participants are treated to an iconic backdrop before setting off on their chosen adventure. The 50km option provides a perfect introduction to sportive riding, while the 100km route delves deeper into Perthshire’s countryside, offering more mileage and scenic beauty for those ready for a longer challenge.
Upon completion of your ride, return to Scone Palace where you’ll find an event village bustling with fellow cyclists. Cross the finish line amid cheers from supporters, grab some well-deserved refreshments, and collect your Wild Deer Events medal as proof of your accomplishment.

The event is open to cyclists aged 17 or older who are confident riding on public roads and adhering to traffic regulations. All participants must complete their chosen distance within a set time frame, ensuring that everyone enjoys both safety and an optimal cycling experience.
Your bicycle should be in good working order and suitable for road conditions—road bikes, gravel bikes, hybrids, and e-bikes (compliant with UK legal requirements) are all welcome.
