The Wawa Trifecta

About the Event

Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of Northern Ontario this fall as Wawa hosts an unforgettable weekend of trail running. This isn't your typical race; it's a celebration of nature, community spirit, and personal challenges.
The adventure kicks off on Saturday, October 17, with two distinct events that cater to different preferences and skill levels. Early risers can tackle the scenic 6k trail run at dawn, weaving through dense forests and across serene lakes. Later in the day, daredevils have a chance to conquer the formidable 1.5k hill climb, testing their endurance on steep inclines under clear blue skies.
The festivities continue into Sunday morning with a longer journey for those seeking an extended adventure: the 22k trail race at 9:00 am sharp. This event offers runners breathtaking vistas and varied terrain as they navigate through winding trails that wind around hills, across streams, and past picturesque landscapes.
Each event promises not just a competitive challenge but also camaraderie among participants who share an appreciation for nature’s grandeur. Whether you're here to push your limits or simply enjoy the stunning scenery, Wawa's trail races offer something special for every runner looking to connect with both their surroundings and fellow enthusiasts in this charming northern town.
Experience the thrill of adventure and camaraderie at these epic trail runs where natural beauty meets spirited competition. Sign up now and be part of a weekend that celebrates grit and community spirit like no other event can.
