The Springs Running Festival

The Springs Running Festival, set for May 9, 2027, invites runners of all ages and abilities to explore the picturesque grounds of The Springs Resort and Golf Club. This brand-new event offers four distinct distances: a fun-filled 2km Kids Run, an invigorating 5km race, a scenic 10km course, and a challenging 10-mile route.
The day kicks off with participants starting and finishing on the resort's golf course, surrounded by lush greenery. The trail winds through the Ridgeway National Path and along the tranquil Thames towpath, offering breathtaking views of rolling hills and serene waterways.
Runners can enjoy a friendly and supportive atmosphere throughout the event, enhanced by free parking onsite and traffic-free trails that make for an enjoyable running experience. Upon crossing the finish line, participants will receive a bespoke metal medal and are invited to celebrate with a pint of beer or non-alcoholic alternative.
Additional perks include instant chip-timed results, complimentary race photographs available for download afterwards, and event mementos such as prizes for podium and age category winners in various divisions (V40/50/60/70/80). The fully marked and marshalled course ensures a safe journey from start to finish, with on-site first aid readily accessible. A finishing touch is the free fruit available at the end line, along with a bottle of Prosecco for the last finisher in each race category (minimum age 18).
Located at Wallingford Road, North Stoke, Oxfordshire, The Springs Resort and Golf Club provides an ideal setting for this multi-terrain event. Join us on May 9, 2027, for a memorable day of running amidst stunning scenery.
