About the Event

The Ron LeDesma Fall Frenzy Memorial Race and Fundraiser – Ron recently passed away and as a tribute to him, the race will be renamed the Ron Ledesma Fall Frenzy Memorial Race. Ron was a pillar of the running community and was always ready to volunteer and help ARR in countless ways throughout the years. He was always smiling and was loved by all. If you would like to donate to his family, that option is available when you sign up for the race on RunSignup.

**Ron would wear his race bib numbers upside down so he could read it! Feel free to do this to in his honor (on the front your shirt)! **

There are two race options - The 4 Miler is a desert course with flat canal stretches with some weaving around a couple of urban lakes with enough inclines to give runners an honest workout. The 8 Miler is 2 laps of the 4 mile course. The races will be staged from ramadas 9 and 10 in Papago Park.

This is a ROAD RACE, not a trail race. While there are some limited canal stretches
with packed dirt, the course will be primarily paved, multi-use paths and roads. Photo of course map below:

RACE DAY Registration is ONLY through RunSignup. Registration for the 8 Mile closes at 6:45 am and 4 Mile closes at 7:00 am

Mail in Registration must be received by Wednesday October 8th.
