The ONER Ultra Trail Run

The ONER will take place from Saturday, June 6, 2026, to Sunday, June 7, 2026, starting at approximately 12:00 PM (board transport at 11:00 AM from event HQ) along the Dorset Coast Path in Dorset, UK. This 85‑mile (approximately 140 km) ultra trail run follows the Jurassic Coast footpath from just outside Charmouth to the National Trust Shell Bay Car Park in Studland, running west to east. The route includes the full circumnavigation of Portland and features coastal footpath, beaches, tracks, exposed cliff areas, and challenging hills. Participants have 24 hours to complete the course, requiring a minimum pace of 5.8 km/h. Cut‑off times apply at each checkpoint.

All participants must follow event rules and carry the compulsory kit list (to be checked at registration): a means of navigation, actions on sheet (issued at registration), whistle, compass, waterproof top, long trousers or tights, gloves (waterproofed in plastic bag), hat (waterproofed in plastic bag), chocolate bar or similar, small torch with spare batteries, more than 400 ml of water or other drink, a lightweight piece of warm clothing (waterproofed), a fully charged working mobile phone (waterproofed), and a notepad and pencil with your name and mobile number (waterproofed). No kit, no run.

• Event HQ: Masonic Lodge Portland, Victoria Square, Portland, Dorset, DT5 1AL. Free parking at HQ. Registration opens at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 6. Coaches transport runners from HQ to the start point and from the finish back to HQ. Mini‑buses pick up retired runners on the course.
• Checkpoints located approximately every 10 km, offering energy bars, jelly babies, salty snacks, filled rolls, water, squash, coke. The halfway point serves hot food; the finish serves hot homemade soup. Medical support is available at checkpoints.
• GPS tracker provided by Geo Tracks. Live tracking map available online. GPX file available for download.
• Included in entry fee: GPS tracker, event branded t‑shirt, food and drink on course, transport to start and from finish, bespoke finisher medal, medical cover, on‑course support, mini‑bus pickup for retired participants, event information pack.
• If access to the planned route is restricted (e.g., adverse weather), an alternative (possibly out‑and‑back) will be used.

Participants who fall below the required pace (5.8 km/h) will be politely asked to retire at a checkpoint. Transport is provided back to HQ. The event is organized by Epic Endurance Events Ltd with support from Votwo Events. Accommodation is available in Weymouth and Portland (hotels, holiday parks, camping, campervan hookups). Campervan spaces at HQ must be booked via wpnsa.org.uk.
