The 4 Calling Birds Run

The 4 Calling Birds Run is an exciting addition to our festive Christmas Series for 2026. Set against the backdrop of Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye, this unique race offers participants the flexibility to choose their own distance and challenge level.
Participants can opt for a range of distances including 5k (two laps), 10k, half marathon, full marathon, or even an ultra-distance option. With a generous time limit of seven hours, runners and walkers alike have ample opportunity to enjoy this challenging off-road course that winds through scenic countryside trails.
The event is designed for all abilities, from casual strollers to seasoned endurance athletes looking to push their limits on rugged terrain. As part of the Christmas Series, participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere with themed medals available for each race in the series, including '4 Calling Birds', alongside other whimsical options like ‘Partridge in a Pear Tree’, ‘2 Turtle Doves’, and more.
