The Merrell Mile 2026

Join us at Blyth Trailway Cabins for an evening filled with camaraderie and fun as we celebrate the Merrell Mile. This unique event offers runners and walkers alike a chance to experience the beauty of Ontario’s trails while testing their limits on foot.
Participants can choose from two demo options: either slip into a pair of Merrell SpeedARC Peaks or Adapt Matryx shoes for the run, or switch them out post-mile for a comfortable cooldown. The mile itself is designed with inclusivity in mind; whether you're aiming to push your personal best or simply enjoy a leisurely evening stroll, there's something here for everyone.
After crossing the finish line under the lights of Blyth Trailway Cabins, stick around and soak up the festive atmosphere. Enjoy some well-deserved refreshments and mingle with fellow runners while catching your breath. Plus, don’t miss out on the opportunity to enter into a draw for exciting prizes!
For safety reasons, parking is not available at the cabins or along Blyth Road. Instead, park at the nearby Blyth Trailhead - G2G Railtrail (554 Queen St., Blyth) and take advantage of complimentary shuttle service provided by The Run Parlour. Alternatively, opt for a quick 2km warm-up jog or walk alongside the picturesque G2G Railtrail to reach the event site.
While there’s no official chip timing in place this year, participants are encouraged to compete on Strava for bragging rights among their peers and fellow runners.
All proceeds from the Merrell Mile go directly toward supporting the Central Huron YMCA. So come out, enjoy a memorable evening under the stars, and contribute to a great cause at the same time!
