The Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon is a truly unique running experience set on the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the iconic Great Sphinx. This race takes you up close to these ancient wonders, letting you run through one of the most historic landscapes in the world.
Organized by The TriFactory, Egypt’s leading participation sports event organiser, the Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon is delivered to the highest international standards. Since 2015, The TriFactory has curated world-class races, including the El Gouna Half Marathon, Somabay Endurance Festival, and Trailmaster Wadi Degla.
Runners of all levels can enjoy a one-lap course timed with MyLaps, the same system used in the Boston Marathon and the Olympic Games. Registration includes a full race pack with a PUMA t-shirt, drawstring bag, race number with timing chip, on-course nutrition, access to the Giza Pyramids Complex, and a premium finisher’s medal engraved with “I Raced Through History.” The race pack is available for pickup at the Race Expo prior to the event, ensuring that every participant is ready to experience history in motion.
