The Mangy Coyote 13 Hour Trail

The Mangy Coyote 13 Hour Run welcomes runners of all levels to Trenton Park in Nova Scotia on October 24, 2026. This unique endurance challenge offers participants complete freedom over their pacing and distance goals within a 13-hour window from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Trenton Park provides an inviting setting with its mix of gravel trails and technical singletrack routes spanning approximately 4-6 kilometers per loop. The terrain features up to 60 meters in elevation, offering varied challenges throughout the day. Runners can expect a friendly atmosphere as they navigate through loops at their own pace.
A fully stocked aid station will be available throughout the event, providing runners with snacks and drinks to keep them fueled during long stretches on the course. Participants are encouraged to bring additional items that suit their specific needs for optimal comfort and performance.
The event also offers participants a designated crew area near the start line where they can set up tents or gear storage points for support staff and friends. This feature allows runners to maintain their energy levels through breaks, meals, and rest periods as needed throughout the day.
Awards will be presented at the end of the race in two categories: Most Loops Completed (male and female divisions) and Spirit of the Pack Award recognizing a runner who exemplifies supportiveness and camaraderie. The entry fee is $85 plus tax and processing fees, which includes access to all event amenities.
