The Long Run Backyard Ultra (Petitcodiac Backyard Ultra) takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM ADT at Tidal Force on Coverdale Road in Riverview, New Brunswick, Canada. This Atlantic Canadian backyard ultra features a 6.7 km loop along the Petitcodiac River, crossing two bridges, two parks, two boardwalks, a beer garden, and part of the Trans Canada Trail — with runners completing one loop every hour until only one remains.

Event Logistics & Participant Information:

• Registration: Sold out (50 participants). Age requirement: 18 and over.
• Registration Deadline: Closes Monday, June 8, 2026 (or earlier if full).
• Location: Tidal Force, Coverdale Road, Riverview, New Brunswick. Course situated in both Riverview and Moncton.
• Course Features: Two bridges, two parks, two boardwalks, one beer garden, and the Petitcodiac River. Almost unobstructed view of the whole course for crew, family, and friends.
• Unique Element: The only place in the world where you can run a backyard ultra while racing the tidal bore at the same time.
• Canadian Distinction: The only backyard ultra in Canada where the entirety of the course forms part of the Trans Canada Trail (TCT) — the world's longest trail.
• Runners receive a finishing medal, swag, Long Run wristband, and T-shirt.
• Milestone Recognition: Runners who complete 25+, 50+, 75+, and 100+ miles receive a recognition of accomplishment wristband.

• Last Person Standing Prize: CA$1,000 + Trophy.

• Note: If The Assist is the opposite sex of the Last Person Standing, then The Assist receives CA$800.
