The LexGiving 5k

In 2023, the LHS Wrestling coaching staff decided it was time for the Town of Lexington to have its own community-oriented Thanksgiving run. They started putting things in motion, and with the vision of growing this into a sizable and inclusive event, invited the track team to take part. The Wrestling and Track teams of Lexington (MA) High School partnered the past 2 years to put on the LexGiving 5k - a run/walk to build community and support LHS athletics. LHS Wrestling is proud to partner with Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School and their Minuteman Parent Association this year to continue that community building at a time when finding common ground can be elusive. It's also a great way to work off that Thanksgiving meal and get your juices flowing for some Black Friday shopping or additional time with family and friends!

We are excited to welcome the running community to The 3rd Annual LexGiving 5k Run/Walk on Black Friday, November 28th at 9am, beginning and ending at Lincoln Field in historic Lexington. As we have the past 2 years, we'll have a DJ, race photographer, and after the race will hold a giveaway in addition to our awards ceremony.

We are especially proud this year to partner with the Lexington Police Department, as well as the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and their Toys for Tots program, which provides toys, books and emotional support to disadvantaged children. We will have a drop-off toy drive at the race - we hope you will join us to provide disadvantaged children with a happier holiday season!
