To ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment, proper swim attire is mandatory, and all visitors must adhere strictly to pool rules such as following lifeguard instructions and refraining from running, diving, extended breath-holding, fighting, foul language, glass containers, outside alcohol, smoking or vaping.
The Cove at The Lakefront™ operates on a strict no-spectator policy; therefore, every guest—swimming or not—must purchase either a day pass or membership to enter. Admission also requires completing a waiver for all guests and legal guardians for minors under 15 years old.
For younger visitors, the park enforces specific adult-to-child ratios: one adult per three children aged 0-6 years and one adult per ten children ages 7-9 years. Inexperienced swimmers must wear identifying wristbands and have an accompanying adult within arm's reach in water deeper than a foot.
The Cove encourages visitors to bring their own food, with the condition that all coolers are no larger than 20 inches by 20 inches by 20 inches and free from glass containers or outside alcohol. Ride height restrictions apply to ensure safety on attractions: a minimum of 48 inches for the larger red, green, and blue slides, and at least 42 inches tall to body board or surf on the FlowRider® Double.
