About the Event
This Japan Association of Athletics Federations-certified race at Shonai Ryokuchi Park in Nagoya covers the full marathon, 30 km, half marathon, 10K, 5K and 1 mile. The course is a flat 2.5 km loop with two water stations per lap offering Aminovital GOLD drink and, from one hour after the start, Amino Shot Perfect Energy gel. The loop uses a short 200 m section inside the athletics stadium, and the final laps of the half and full marathon finish on the stadium's 400 m track. The 1 mile runs on a special course. Eleven pacer groups cover full marathon times from 2:40 to 4:20. Entry fees are 11,000 yen for the full marathon, 7,700 yen for the 30 km and half marathon, 5,500 yen for the 10K, and 3,300 yen for the 5K and 1 mile. Registration runs from 8:00 to 9:00 and the main races start at 9:30, with the 1 mile at 9:33. Time limits range from 40 minutes for the 5K to 4 hours 30 minutes for the full marathon. Photos and web finisher certificates are provided free, and the race counts toward the R.LEAGUE ranking series, whose members get 10 percent off entry from their second start.
