At this unique running event, participants are encouraged to embrace a distinctive dress code that steers clear of traditional athletic wear. Instead of tights or spandex, runners must opt for shorts with an inseam measuring at least five inches. To ensure uniformity and camaraderie among the volunteers and staff on race day, all outside personnel will sport the provided red race-day shirt.
To enhance focus and immersion in the event's atmosphere, electronics are strictly regulated. Participants are advised to leave their cell phones behind and store them safely in their vehicles before heading to the starting line. Heart rate monitors are also prohibited, but runners can use watches for tracking time or mileage if they choose.
