On November 3, 2026, The Block hosts its third annual Community Comp, an evening of friendly competition and celebration at the heart of Tahoe's climbing community. Climbers gather to scale their way through top routes, logging their best five performances on a scorecard for a chance at recognition among peers. Beyond the challenges on the wall, attendees can enjoy live music, tasty food, refreshing drinks, and thrilling prizes awarded to the winners. A raffle is also held, with proceeds benefiting local Tahoe nonprofits. All ages are welcome, though competitors must be 12 years or older. The event offers free entry for Block Members while non-members pay a $25 fee.
