The Amazing Grace Virtual 5K: Our Final Run for Their Legacy

Nearly four years ago, we lost Rikki Grace & Dr. Megan Grace in a tragic impaired-driving crash. In their memory, we established memorial scholarships at Eastern Florida State College and created The Amazing Grace 5k to help fund them.

Thanks to the incredible support of our family, friends, sponsors, and community, we are now nearing our goal of fully funding the Rikki Grace & Dr. Megan Grace Memorial Scholarships as endowed scholarships, ensuring their legacy will continue to impact students for generations to come.

After much prayer and consideration, we have chosen to make this year's event virtual only. While we will miss gathering together in person, this final Amazing Grace 5K allows us to focus on completing the mission that began in their honor.

The virtual race will take place October 11-18, 2026, culminating with Night of Grace on Sunday, October 18 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Front Street Civic Center in Melbourne.

Held on the fourth anniversary of Rikki and Megan's passing, Night of Grace will be a special evening of worship, remembrance, and gratitude as we honor their lives and legacies and thank the many people who have walked alongside us throughout this journey. The evening will include worship and music, prayer, special moments of remembrance, an update on the memorial scholarships, and light refreshments.

Race participants and their families are warmly invited to attend. There is no cost to attend, and no fundraising will take place during the evening.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has walked, run, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and prayed alongside us throughout this journey. Because of your support, what once seemed like a distant dream is now within reach.

Join us for the final The Amazing Grace Virtual 5K as we celebrate the completion of the Rikki Grace & Dr. Megan Grace Memorial Scholarship Endowment.

Run, walk, or participate from wherever you are as we honor their lives and the lasting impact of their legacy. 

Participants may complete their 5K (3.1 miles) anywhere, anytime during the event period of October 11-18, 2026.

• Invitation to Night of Grace on October 18, 2026, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Front Street Civic Center in Melbourne

Every registration and donation supports the Rikki Grace & Dr. Megan Grace Memorial Scholarships, helping future generations pursue their educational goals and dreams.

How it Works

1.  Register and make your contribution.

2.  Complete your 5K anytime during race week (October 11–18, 2026).

3.  Participate your way — run, walk, bike, or use a treadmill wherever you are.

4.  Track your activity using Strava, Garmin, MapMyRun, Runkeeper, Apple Fitness, Fitbit, or your favorite fitness app.

5.  Share your results, photos and memories on social media using #AmazingGrace5K and #MadeForMoreMovement. We'd love to see your race time, route map, finish-line photo, or a screenshot from your fitness app.

6.  Celebrate knowing your participation helped create a lasting legacy that will continue impacting lives for generations.
