Get ready to lace up, light up, and trot into the holidays with us at the Active Texan Tinsel Trot—a festive evening 5K, 10K, and 1-mile family fun run at beautiful Lake Walk in Bryan-College Station!

Bring your friends, your family, your running club, or your coworkers—this is more than just a race; it’s a community celebration to close out the year Active Texan-style.

As the sun sets, the Lake Walk Pavilion will transform into a glowing holiday party complete with:
🎶 Live music & holiday tunes
🍔 Food trucks & hot chocolate
🎯 Festive games & selfie stations
✨ Post-race celebration on the Green

🎁 Race Details
Date: Saturday, December 20, 2025
Time: 5:00 PM start
Location: Lake Walk Pavilion, Bryan, TX
Events: 10K • 5K • 1-Mile Kids/Family Fun Run
Timing: Professionally chip-timed races

All participants will receive a finisher medal, and 5K/10K runners will also receive an official race t-shirt and sponsor swag.
🏆 Awards for Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers in both 5K and 10K divisions.

 
🌟 A Few Tips
Headlamps are recommended for 10K runners, as portions of the course will be after dark.
The route is well-lit by streetlights, and we’ll keep things merry and bright with glow sticks and bracelets for all participants.
Costumes and holiday spirit are highly encouraged!
