The 2027 Tholthorpe 10k

The Tholthorpe 10k, set to take place on Sunday, September 5, 2027, marks the 31st year of this beloved local race. Starting and finishing alongside the picturesque village pond, runners will enjoy a scenic course that winds through quiet North Yorkshire country roads. Over the years, it has become an essential part of many running clubs' calendars and attracts participants ranging from beginners to seasoned athletes.
The route is generally flat, making it accessible for all levels of runner while still offering competitive challenges. The race begins at 11:00 am with a cut-off time of 90 minutes. After crossing the finish line, runners can look forward to homemade cakes and sandwiches along with tea, coffee, and other refreshments in the village hall.
