Tartan Warrior 2027 - 10km + 5km Competitive, 5km Fun Run

Tartan Warrior Classic Obstacle Course returns to Fit Body Farm on March 21, 2027, offering both competitive and fun runners an unforgettable challenge set against the picturesque backdrop of Kilmaurs. This family-friendly event features two new distances: a challenging 10km course for seasoned competitors and a more accessible 5km option suitable for all ages.
The venue at Wheatrig Farm is renowned for its stunning natural setting, complete with fields, short hills, streams, and trails that make the perfect stage for over 50 innovative obstacles. Participants can expect to crawl through mud pits, leap over barriers, climb towering structures, and swing across challenging terrain—all while enjoying a vibrant atmosphere filled with live music from an outdoor DJ.
For those in it to win, Tartan Warrior offers podium prizes for top male and female finishers in various age categories, as well as special awards for the most competitive teams. Fun runners will also have their chance at glory through team challenges and unique giveaways like free group coaching sessions worth up to £1000.
Beyond the race itself, attendees can look forward to a range of additional perks such as complimentary photos capturing your muddy adventure, face painting, and even the opportunity for selfies with Hamish the Highland Cow. The event is also part of the Tartan Warrior Tri-fecta Series, inviting participants to compete in multiple races throughout the year.
With its award-winning reputation and commitment to inclusivity, Tartan Warrior promises an exhilarating day out that combines physical challenge with community spirit. Don't miss your chance to take on this exciting new edition!
