Tanner's Run - 4th Annual

Tanner's Run is an annual tribute to the joyful spirit of Tanner, a beloved Golden Retriever who fought cancer with unwavering determination and love. Diagnosed with melanoma at age eight, Tanner lived each day to its fullest until his passing just days before he turned nine in 2024. This heartfelt event was established not only as an enduring memory but also as a means of support for pet owners facing similar challenges.
Each year, the race aims to raise funds that can provide financial assistance to families dealing with the high costs associated with cancer treatments for their pets. The initiative has garnered widespread community support and recognition since its inception, drawing runners from various backgrounds who share a deep affection for animals in need.
This year's 4th Annual Tanner’s Run will benefit Moose, another local Golden Retriever diagnosed with cancer. At seven years old, Moose recently underwent surgery to remove an extensive tumor and is now recovering at home in Clifton Park alongside his loving family. The event organizers are committed to raising funds specifically for Moose’s medical expenses, ensuring that no financial burden hinders the care he needs.
