'Talk To Thompsons' Linlithgow Junior Fun Run

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 2:35 PM, Linlithgow Athletic Club invites young runners aged between 8 and 15 years old to participate in an exciting 1.9K race around historic Linlithgow. The event starts near the Cross Well, winds westward along High Street before turning right onto St.Ninian's Road, then heads east on St.Ninian’s Way back towards the finish line at Linlithgow Peel (Palace). This charming course offers runners a scenic journey through some of Linlithgow's most picturesque streets and landmarks.
Participants will receive more than just an athletic experience; they'll also get a commemorative t-shirt, a goody bag filled with treats from local sponsors such as Tunnock’s and Burton's Biscuits, along with refreshments and fruit to keep them energized. The race offers competitive excitement too, awarding prizes for the top three boys and girls overall, plus an additional prize for first place boy or girl hailing from Linlithgow.
Parents are encouraged to make a day of it by joining in on the 'Talk To Thompsons' 10K event happening concurrently.
