Experience one of the fastest and most accurate measured mile races in autumn! The Täljemilen takes place at Geneta Sportfält, Södertälje, offering runners an ideal setting to achieve their best times or even set new personal records. This 1609-meter course is entirely on asphalt paths designed for speed, making it perfect for competitive and recreational runners alike.
The race venue features changing rooms but participants are advised to arrive early if they plan to change clothes at the site. Last day of regular registration is Thursday, October 15th; after this date, late entry will be available until one hour before the start on race day with a higher fee.
Entry fees: SEK 300 for pre-registration and SEK 400 if registering later or on-site. The course has been meticulously measured by officials from the Swedish Amateur Athletics Federation to ensure accuracy. Water stations are conveniently placed at both 5 kilometers and at the finish line, ensuring runners stay hydrated throughout their run.
In addition to a competitive atmosphere, the event offers prizes for the top three male and female finishers in the form of gift certificates. There is also a draw with approximately twenty additional prizes awarded randomly among all participants.
