The 30km route offers runners a challenging yet scenic journey through historic districts and parks rarely accessible to the general public. For those looking for a more manageable distance, the half marathon (21km) provides an equally rewarding experience with picturesque views around every corner. Teams can also participate in the relay event, where each member runs approximately 7 kilometers.
For shorter distances, there's the 10km race and a family-friendly 2km mini-marathon for those who wish to enjoy the course at their own pace. Additionally, this year we've introduced walking events including a half marathon walk (21km) and a 5km walk, both of which provide an opportunity to explore Tokyo's unique landscapes while enjoying the company of fellow participants.
The event is designed with several pacers along each route, ensuring that runners can maintain their desired pace throughout. Whether you're aiming for personal bests or simply looking to enjoy the atmosphere, this race offers a perfect blend of challenge and camaraderie.
