Swarthmore Reindeer Dash - 1 Mile Sprint/Walk

Swarthmore’s 2025 Home for the Holidays will kick off with a 1 mile sprint through the town.  Dressing up to run in festive gear/apparel is strongly encouraged and adds a great deal of fun to the festivities!! 

This race is the kick-off for Swarthmore’s very festive annual event - performances, live music, Park-a-Pub, trolley rides, and caroling. The funds from the race will help support all of the days’ events.  

Location:  Registration will take place outside of Ship Bottom Brewery at 5 Park Ave in Swarthmore. Registration Opens at 11:00 am; Race starts at 11:30  AM. 

Recognition:   1st Place Male, 1st Place Female, Top Individual Costume, Top Group Costume                                                                                                        

Race Results: Race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co.; Results will be found at http://www.brynmawrracing.com

Pricing:

• $28.00 for those 21+
• $12.00 for those ages 6 - 20
• Children Age 5 and under run for free, but need to run with a parent/guardian (they do not need a separate bib or sign up).
• Swarthmore College students free!! Thank you to Swarthmore College Recreation, Wellness, & Physical Education.

Merch: Those runners in the over 21+ category will receive one free beer coupon from Ship Bottom!

Proceeds for the Reindeer Dash benefit Swarthmore Town Center (STC) a nonprofit whose purpose is to promote and plan educational, cultural, or charitable community events within the town center and physically enhance the business district through these events.
