Swachhathon 2026 @ Vijayawada

Swachhathon is an inspiring running event organized by Swatchha Andhra Corporation alongside Amaravati Runners. This annual gathering not only celebrates fitness but also emphasizes the importance of cleanliness and environmental sustainability, making it a unique blend of physical activity and community responsibility.
Participants can choose from three categories: Half Marathon (21 kilometers), 10K run, or a 5K fun run. The event welcomes runners aged 16 years and above for the half marathon, those over 14 for the 10K distance, and anyone ten years old or older for the shorter route.
All participants will receive exclusive merchandise including an event T-shirt, a goodies bag filled with useful items, and a finisher medal to commemorate their achievement. Timing chips are provided for both Half Marathon and 10K runners to track their performance accurately. Additionally, every competitor receives an e-certificate upon completion of the race.
The day promises plenty of support services such as hydration stations offering water, energy drinks, and refreshments along with a nutritious breakfast post-race. Medical assistance and ambulance support are available throughout the event for added safety.
Age categories include General (up to 34 years), Seniors’ (35-44 years), Veteran (45-54 years), Sr. Veterans (55-64 years), and Super Veterans (aged 65 and above). This ensures that runners of all ages can compete in a category suited to their age group.
Special attractions include lively Zumba sessions held before the race, designed to energize participants and set an enthusiastic tone for the day ahead. The top three male and female finishers across timed categories will be awarded attractive cash prizes as recognition for their efforts.
