Superior Stocking Run

Join us on Saturday December 13th for a fun and festive, family-friendly 5K run and walk in the town of Superior - conveniently located off Highway 36 between Denver and Boulder. Get a head start on the holiday season with the Stocking Run!!!

EXCITING VENUE IN DOWNTOWN SUPERIOR!!!  Last year, we moved to the Stocking Run to an all new venue on Main Street in Superior.  The brand new course that was fast and fun (elevation gain will be approximately 100 feet spread out over 3.1 miles)!  The new location and course was a big success!!!

The race kicks off Superior's December 13th Winter Festival.  Winter Festival offers fun for the entire family, so stick around after the race and enjoy various booths and activities throughout the day!

This is also the first race in the Racing Underground Winter Running Series.  The three-race series includes the Stocking Run 5K in December, the Yeti Chase 5K/10K in January, and the Ralston Creek Half-Marathon & 5K in February. Choose from the 5K-5K-5K series or the 5K-10K-Half Marathon Series.

January 25, 2026: Yeti Chase 5K/10K (Lakewood, Colorado)

February 15, 2026: Ralston Creek Half Marathon & 5K (Arvada, Colorado)

The Superior Stocking Run is the first event in the Racing Underground Winter Running Series. The Series also includes the Yeti Chase 5k & 10k in January, and the Ralston Creek Half Marathon & 5k in February. A 5k-5k-5k series and a 5k-10k-half marathon series are offered. Your entry fee includes entry into the race, a Stocking Run t-shirt in adult and youth size shirts, fun music, post race munchies including Jill's famous home baked banana chocolate chip bread. (series entrants get one shirt for each race)
