Sunrise 5k

The Sunrise 5K, an integral part of Wyoming’s Stagecoach Days festivities, invites runners to lace up their shoes and join the vibrant community on September 19th at 8am. This annual race takes place across from Casey's general store along the scenic Sunrise Trails in Wyoming, Minnesota.
Last year’s event was a testament to perseverance and passion as Faith Cannon of North Branch claimed victory in the women’s division with an impressive personal best that secured her fourth spot on the all-time top ten list for female runners. Meanwhile, Blake Corbet from Stacy triumphed in the men's category, clocking 20:27—a performance that earned him third place among the fastest male times ever recorded at this race.
The event celebrated not only speed and agility but also longevity with Phil Wald’s inspiring participation; he crossed the finish line as the oldest runner at age 81. His story resonated deeply, reminding everyone of the enduring joy running can bring to people's lives regardless of their age or experience level.
Race organizers are proud to highlight the contributions from local sponsors such as Wyoming Lions and Snap Fitness of Wyoming, whose support has been instrumental in making this race a cherished tradition for both runners and spectators alike. Participants will enjoy an entry fee of $30 that includes a super soft cotton t-shirt, adding extra value to their experience.
