The Sulphur Springs Trail Race 2026, Canada's oldest ultra-trail event, is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 2026. Held in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area in Ancaster, Ontario, the race features a challenging 20K looped course through a Carolinian forest. Notably, the 100K and 100-mile distances serve as the first Western States Endurance Run (WSER) qualifiers in Ontario.

-- Race Sustainability: This is a cup-less event. All participants must provide their own reusable cups or hydration vessels for use at the four stocked aid stations.
-- Kit Pickup: Available at MEC Burlington on May 20 and 21, or on-site at the Morgan Firestone Arena starting May 22 through the weekend.
-- Elevation Profile: The course is a double-track trail network featuring approximately 500m (1,500ft) of elevation gain for every 20K loop completed.
-- Course Cutoffs: For ultra distances, the final loop must be started by 8:00 AM on Sunday. The absolute race cutoff for 100-mile finishers is 12:15 PM on Sunday.
-- Safety and Gear: Trekking poles are permitted only for distances of 50 miles or longer. Strollers and pets are strictly prohibited from all race events.
