Sukumo-Ainan Cycle Connect: Nature Like No Other 2026 (宿毛・愛南サイクルコネクト ～大自然にもほどがある～2026)
About the event
A 100 km sightseeing ride linking Sukumo City and Ainan Town at the southern tip of Shikoku, with about 1,600 m of climbing. This year the course is built on last year's route ridden in reverse and reworked, with a new route that opens up more scenery along the coast and mountains.
It is not a race: there are no rankings or times. Riders are encouraged to stop for photos, detour for local specialties and chat with residents. Aid stations again serve regional dishes made with local ingredients. The ride is open to high school students and older.
