Stride Into Fall - One Loudoun

Walking is a great way to support a healthy lifestyle while also building connection, camaraderie, and community. Whether you are walking for fitness, for conversation, or for a break from your other passions and activities, walking together with others can fill your cup.

Stride through One Loudoun with us during this FREE community event promoting wellness and connection. Get in some steps while meeting new people and sharing a fall morning together. We'll gather at 9 AM at the One Loudoun just as the =PR= Fall Classic 10K is concluding, allowing walkers to cheer on the racers before beginning their walk.

The route will allow you to walk from 1-4 (ish) miles and will be lead by the One Loudoun Saturday Strides walking group. Post-walk social, refreshments, and giveaways at =PR= One Loudoun until 11 AM.

Brooks and ON Running will also be onsite with comfortable shoes available to test during part of your walk. Stop in to =PR= at 20436 Exchange Street anytime after 8:15 AM to check out a test pair and wear them for any/all of your walking miles to experience the fit and comfort in action.

About the new =PR= Community Strides Initiative

NOVA is increasingly insular and transient. People move in and out constantly — real, lasting community is hard to find. But we all are seeking connection! Walking has a low barrier to entry - no need for a formal venue or significant equipment or high cost! But there is safety and camaraderie in a group. And you might meet a new friend, business connection, or neighbor with a common interest. 

=PR= is passionate about wellness and about enabling and supporting movement of every kind. Through Community Strides, we'll identify and support existing walking groups and seek to help build new ones, and attempt to bring them together through larger community events like Stride Into Fall.
