About the Event

Join the community spirit at the Back to Schools 5K on October 17, 2026, and help support underprivileged students in Bossier Parish. This 5K race aims to raise funds for essential school supplies and meals for over 4,500 food-insecure kids. Participants can look forward to a scenic route through the heart of the parish, with the chance to win door prizes like gift cards from local businesses and coffee from The Red.
Registration costs $25 for adults, while children have their own fun run at just $15. For those who prefer not to race but still want to contribute, sleep-in/donation options are available. All proceeds go directly towards providing new uniforms, coats, and meal bags that ensure students stay warm and well-fed throughout the school year.
Don't miss this opportunity to make a difference in your community and enjoy an inspiring run with fellow supporters. Sign up now at www.ncc.team/bts for more information on how you can help fight school poverty. Note that registrations after September 30th are not guaranteed t-shirts, so act fast!
