THIS RACE IS AN OFFICIAL NATIONAL QUALIFIER FOR THE STATE GAMES OF AMERICA
All medalists are eligible represent the state of West Virginia at the 2026 State Games of America being held in Happy Valley, PA. For more information visit the official website by clicking the link.

5K Trail Run/ Walk:
The race will take place at Heritage Farm and start at the covered bridge. Racers will head up the Grindstone Trail till they reach the top of the trail. From there, racers will head to the Corn Husker Trail and descend down it finishing near the covered bridge.
Medals for overall men's and women's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd finishers along with men's and women's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in age groups U18, 18-35, 36-50, 51-64, and 65+.
11K Trail Run
The race will be an extended version of the 5K Trail Run for veteran trail runners looking for extra thrill!
Medals for overall men's and women's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd finishers along with men's and women's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in age groups U18, 18-35, 36-50, 51-64, and 65+.
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
This 1 mile hike will be a fun farm walk or run across the beautiful Appalachian scenery of Heritage Farm.
Kid division medals for overall boys and girls 1st, 2nd, and 3rd finishers along with boys and girls 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in age groups 5U, 6-10, 11-15. Top 3 adult (16+) men and women will be awarded medals as well.
All registrations come with a 2026 State Games of West Virginia Shirt!
The State Games of West Virginia is the first state games in the Mountain State associated with The National Congress of State Games and The State Games of America. (The State Games of America is an Olympic-style event featuring competition between State Game medal winners (gold, silver, bronze) from across the nation. There are currently 30 states conducting or organizing statewide sports festivals known as state games with West Virginia being the 30th.
