About the Event

We welcome you to join us for the 10th Annual St. Louis Cougar Chase 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run! The race features professional timing and offers prizes to the top competitors, so start your training now! This event is paired up with Breakfast with Santa (starting ~8:30a) again this year, so after you run you can fill up on pancakes and help build our St Louis Parish and School Community.

Fees for the 5K are only $15, 1-Mile just $10 (only for kids 8U), and all kids age 8 and under can run the untimed Chase the Cougar 400m on the St. Louis Catholic School 'Ox' Emerson Track for free!

The 2025 Tenth Anniversary Cougar Chase will be held on Saturday December 6th.

Packet Pickup:
We will pass out race bags and shirts (shirts ordered separately of registration) the Friday before the race to SLCS families. These will be given with your child before pickup. We will also have morning-of packet pickup starting at 7:30a before the race.

Awards:
Overall Male and Female Prizes as well as Age/School Grade based prizes will be handed out this year.

What Are We Racing For?
With funds raised from previous years we were able to install a shot put & discus pad with cage, and purchased a high jump landing pad. This year we are excited to further support the development of our Cougar Athletics.
